I am like most people and dread going to renew my license. I made an appointment, which I suggest doing. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The employees are fast and friendly. One thing I was not aware of is you will need to bring a birth certificate if you don't have one on file. I have had a Texas license for 25 years and could not renew because my birth certificate was not on file. Originally I used my marriage certificate.
