It's on Sidney Baker (Hwy 16) just a couple blocks south of the river. Right next to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept.

I received a notice in the mail after 4/22/2024 informing me that I would need to schedule in person appointment with their office to renew my drivers license. I went to website but did not find schedule option. I physically visited the location 5/6/2024 to find out earliest appt is in September. Notice should have been given months earlier to inform that I would not be able to renew my license online. I now have an appt scheduled 9/6/2024 which does not help at all. Very disappointed at lack of proper notice to not inconvenience customers unnecessarily.

Can I leave a negative star rating? I mean, life is tough enough these days without having to go through this stressful and unproductive process! Who came up with this cluster? I can't call the office and online, I have to click link after link of one private organization after another and STILL can't get an appointment!! How am I supposed to renew my license when DPS has become so inefficient?? Politicans are to blame!! The government screws everything up and ruins everything it touches! And WHY do I have to bring in my certified birth certificate to renew...again..when I am clearly an American citizen?? Been living in the same place as the last time I renewed my license. The difference is, the last ime, I just put my information in online and it was renewed..just like that. Now that it's expired, I can't even get an appointment set up to go show them I'm not someone else!!
