all 3 attendants were petty and rude. I brought my friend who is 80 years old to renew his license. He's a US Navy veteran with several awards for his service in Viet Nam and served on at least 2 air craft carriers. We came in with an appointment and were immediately informed that we had to have a birth certificate even though it says nothing about that on the appointment confirmation. He had a 'real ID' in the form of a TX DL w the star. That attendant said it might not be a 'real star'. He also had his military ID and discharge papers. But we drove the 45 mi round trip to his house to get the birth certificate and returned a couple of hours later . After going to the end of the line again, we were finally called and immediately told (w much pleasure) that was not a birth certificate, it was a photo copy. I felt like he was being tag teamed by all 3 of the attendants and was very disappointed that one of our veterans was treated with such disrespect and no feeling for his time. I have another elderly friend that said she finally gave up and went to Carthage to get her license.
