It's important to note that every county manages its own DMV service office, and some have appointment systems while others are only available to walk-in customers during their business hours. First Time Vehicle Registration Requirements
TxDMV Regional Offices Appointments
TxDMV Regional Offices handle specialized services such as replacement titles, bonded title rejection letters, apportioned registration, resolving title errors, vehicle transfer notifications, and title history inquiries. Customers with appointments receive priority, and all other customers will receive service on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on their service request. Same-day and next-day appointments are available.
Note that dealers, title service companies, and their "runners" are not eligible to book appointments. Appointments booked by these entities will be canceled. Book an Appointment at a TxDMV Regional Office.
