Part-Time Driver Licensing Offices in Morton and Republic Reopen After Pandemic Closures

Morton and Republic, two small towns in Washington state, have good news for their residents. After being closed due to the pandemic for more than a year, their part-time driver licensing offices have reopened. The offices are run by Licensing Express, a private company that partners with the Washington State Department of Licensing.

Reopening these offices is particularly important for people who live in rural areas, as they often have to travel long distances to get to the nearest licensing office. This can be a major inconvenience, especially for those needing reliable transportation access. Now, residents of Morton and Republic will be able to take care of their licensing needs closer to home.

The Morton office will be open on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, while the Republic office will be open on the second and fourth Wednesdays. Both offices will be available from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and will offer a range of services, including driver's license and ID card renewals, vehicle tab renewals, and more.

Licensing Express has taken several steps to ensure the safety of its employees and customers in light of the ongoing pandemic. This includes requiring masks to be worn at all times inside the offices, limiting the number of people allowed inside at once, and installing plexiglass barriers at the service counters.

Residents of Morton and Republic are thrilled to have their local licensing offices open again. Many have expressed relief at not having to travel long distances to take care of their licensing needs. With the pandemic still affecting daily life, opening these offices is a small but significant step towards returning to normalcy.

Licensing Express has stated that they will continue to monitor the situation and adjust their operations as necessary to ensure the safety of their employees and customers. For now, residents of Morton and Republic can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that they have a more convenient option for their licensing needs.
