Oceanside DMV Field Office to Reopen December 19 after Renovations - California DMV

The Oceanside DMV field office will reopen on December 19 after a recent change in management and renovations. We look forward to serving our customers at this location. For those who have been coming to the Carlsbad office instead of the Oceanside field office, please be aware that Carlsbad will now be only open for certain transactions, including registering vehicles and requesting duplicate titles.

Our North County customers are encouraged to visit our San Marcos DMV Field Office when they need services such as registration renewals or other vehicle-related transactions.

As previously reported, the Carlsbad DMV field office will reopen on Monday, January 2, during its regular operating hours. This new office location is also open for business for vehicle registration renewals and other transactions. The San Diego Regional DMV will again manage the field office.

For those who have been coming to the Oceanside office instead of the Carlsbad location in recent months, please be aware that Oceanside will now be only open for certain transactions, including registering vehicles and requesting duplicate titles (which must be obtained at a DMV field office).
