North Henrico DMV Relocates to Ashland for Enhanced Efficiency

Ashland Virginia

RICHMOND - The North Henrico Customer Service Center (CSC) of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is moving to a more spacious and efficient location in Ashland. The current office at 9015 Brook Road will close at the end of the day on Saturday, April 22, and the new location at 251 N. Washington Highway in the Ashland Hanover Shopping Center is set to open on Monday, May 1.

During the temporary closure, customers can access over 50 services online at dmv.virginia.gov. Those preferring in-person transactions can make an appointment or visit any other CSC during office hours, including nearby offices at 9237 Quioccasin Road and 2300 W. Broad Street in Richmond. Customers can also visit partner DMV Select locations for vehicle transactions such as registration renewals, titles, license plates, and decals.

The new Ashland office will offer a more efficient experience, as it is over 4,000 square feet larger than the previous location and features four additional customer service windows. A new countertop design will also improve efficiency and customer flow.
