TRENTON, NJ — All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of the state holiday.

Despite the closure, the NJMVC.gov website remains accessible 24/7, allowing customers to complete most NJMVC transactions online at their convenience. The website offers more than 25 online services, such as license renewals and replacements, vehicle registration renewals and replacements, address changes, fee and surcharge payments, driver abstract requests, personalized and specialty plate requests, and more.

New Jersey residents in need of motor vehicle services are encouraged to visit the NJMVC website first to take advantage of online offerings, schedule necessary appointments for in-person services and driver testing, and address the most common NJMVC-related customer concerns.
