The California DMV location in Truckee is open for businesses. The California Department of Motor Vehicles invites you to visit the new DMV office. On July 5, the office closed for the renovation process to run without interruption. Some of the major improvements include interior paint job, new furniture, and flooring. The location of DMV office is at 1357 Donner Pass Road Suite I. Locals of this area now have a chance to apply for a REAL ID. But for this process to succeed, they must visit the office for a full application.

For you to board a flight within the US, federal documents are a necessity for acceptance. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security needs valid passports or REAL ID driver’s licenses. Also, another common paper/confirmation you need to have is your identification card. These documents come in handy when accessing military bases and federal facilities.

Thanks to technology, the DMV office has provided an online application for clients. First, find time and visit REALID.dmv.ca.gov to fill out the online documentation for your license. Upload important papers relating to the REAL ID, and then print your validation code. Afterward, visit the DMV office and submit the confirmation code and documents. Once this process is complete, the final step is the transaction of the REAL ID, which takes 10 minutes.

The renovation of the DMV office also led to the introduction of digital services. Customers are now free to perform all transactions online without visiting the office. This strategy enables clients to apply for a license from their comfort space. Apart from issuing DL, the DMV office also offers vehicle registration renewal aids. Besides, the availability of a DMV website has all the information to help you in decision making. Applicants can use the Service Advisor to finish DMV projects and tasks.
