Mississippi DPS to Offer Extended Hours for Driver Services

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS) is delighted to announce that the motorist care agency will now be open for business for longer hours. The extra hours will run from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on December 3, 10, and 17. This is excellent news for anyone who needs to renew or obtain a new driver's license because it will now be easier for them to do so. These extra hours are only available for a short period, so make sure you take advantage of them.

The Saturday operations are only available for new regular driver permit and identity card applicants; replacements, copies, learner's permit testing, reinstatements, commercial driver's license (CDL) renewals & duplicates (no CDL road test will be offered during Saturday services), and concealed weapon approvals.
The Mississippi DPS has prioritized providing top-notch driver services, and this expansion of hours offers customers the convenience they need. Whether you require a new license or want to renew an existing one, take advantage of these extended hours.

Customers will be attended to by appointment only. Those willing to get the services must book their appointment online via the DPS website.
