The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) recently announced the expansion of its automated kiosk program. The program, first launched in 2017, is designed to provide customers with convenient access to BMV services.

The expansion of the program will now include an additional 24 kiosks located in the following cities: Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, South Bend, and Terre Haute. The new kiosks will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering a wide range of services, including driver's license and ID card renewals, vehicle registration renewals, and address changes.

The BMV hopes that expanding its automated kiosk program will help reduce wait times for customers and make accessing the services they need easier. The kiosks are also expected to reduce the number of in-person visits to BMV branches, helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

In addition to the new kiosks, the BMV is expanding its online services. Customers can now complete their driver's license, ID card, and vehicle registration renewals online. This is a convenient option for those unable to visit a kiosk or BMV branch in person.

The BMV is also offering a number of other services online, including the ability to change your address, order replacement driver's licenses, and check the status of your vehicle registration.

The BMV hopes these new services and kiosks will help make it easier for customers to access the services they need. Customers are also encouraged to take advantage of the online services, as this can help to reduce wait times and keep everyone safe during the pandemic.
