Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles Announces New Hours for Wabash and Peru Branches
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) announced on July 13 new hours for its Wabash and Peru branches. The revised schedule will take effect on Monday, July 24, to provide more comprehensive service to the community.
Under the new plan, the Wabash branch will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Peru branch will adopt a similar schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Sharing a common staff, the Wabash and Peru branches will be better equipped to serve the community with these changes in operating hours. The new operational structure will enable staff to provide improved customer service and maintain smoother operations at both branches.
The BMV also pointed out that transactions can be completed at other branches in surrounding counties, which include Logansport, Huntington, and Marion. This extended network provides additional options for Hoosiers looking to access BMV services.
For a comprehensive list of branch locations and hours or to complete an online transaction, Hoosiers are encouraged to visit IN.gov/BMV. The website also provides information about the location of 24-hour BMV Connect kiosks for even more convenient service access.
This shift in branch operation hours comes as part of the BMV's commitment to continually optimizing their service to better meet the needs of the community.
