Idaho's DMV Administrator, Lisa McClellan, has been with the state agency since 2004 and was selected ITD's Professional of the Year in February. She has extensive knowledge because she has worked as a manager in the department's DMV and Financial Services branches.

During her tenure as DMV director, she will oversee a staff of 244.

McClellan aided the DMV in many ways, including organizational change, process enhancement, software modernizing, development of employees, county and stakeholder partnerships, and more. Recently, she has taken on a pivotal leadership position as ITD updated DMV software, paving the way for efficient new developments.

Lisa graduated from Lewis & Clark State College with a BA in business in 2009.

ITD Chief Scott Stokes remarked, "This is excellent news for the division and Idaho." Ultimately, all of Idaho will profit from Lisa's efforts, as she is a true champion. Lisa has a bold plan that will save time and money for consumers and companies by introducing advanced DMV service options.

Lisa is excited about upcoming changes and possibilities.
McClellan stated, "I am thrilled to head a bold team of devoted DMV experts who have the consumer at the core of all we do." A long distance has been traveled, but the DMV remains dedicated to serving its customers, listening to its stakeholders and partners, and seeking new ways to improve.
