Great Falls Montana MVD Office Moves to New Location in Great Falls for Improved Services
Montana Motor Vehicle Division's Relocation will Enhance Customer Experience and Extend Services.
The Montana Motor Vehicle Division's (MVD) Great Falls office has relocated to a new facility, which promises improved customer service, extended offerings, and increased visibility. Located near Home Depot at 1401 Market Place Drive, the new premises began operations on Monday, June 19.
The new MVD office provides customers with enhanced privacy during driver license renewals and boasts a larger, more comfortable waiting area. In addition, the office will now offer motorcycle skills testing on-site, a service not available at the previous location. Operating hours will remain the same, Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
"Improving MVD Operations and Customer Experience"
"Our new office in Great Falls will improve MVD operations and help us better serve Montanans," stated Laurie Bakri, Montana Motor Vehicle Division Administrator. "We listened to the feedback we received from Great Falls residents, and that’s why we’re moving offices – to make their experience at the MVD more pleasant. Customer service is our top priority."
To ensure a smooth transition, the previous office location at 207 Smelter Ave NE #3 will close on June 15 and 16. However, the MVD mobile unit will be stationed in the parking lot of the new location during the move, providing driver services on a first-come, first-served basis.
Extended Services Available on MVD Mobile Unit
The mobile unit offers customers the ability to renew or replace Standard and Commercial Driver Licenses as well as REAL ID Standard or Class D licenses. Additionally, it is equipped to process out-of-state transfers for applicants with current and valid out-of-state licenses.
For a successful transaction, customers are encouraged to check the MVD website for information on the documents required for each license type. Detailed information is available at https://dojmt.gov/driving/driverservices/.
With this strategic relocation, Montana MVD continues its mission to accommodate better and serve the residents of Great Falls and beyond.
