DMV is Ready For You!
DMV on the Go, a Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles mobile office, is now accepting customers. Except for inspections, road tests, driver improvement, and uninsured motorist transactions, the new trailer is fully equipped to handle all other DMV-related business.

Customers who may not be able to make the trip to a physical DMV office can still get the DMV services they need without having to go far from home. Through October 31, 2022, DMV Mobile Offices will be at:

  •  Every other Tuesday, between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM: Delaware Rapid Transit (DART)     Headquarters, First State Building, 119 Lower Beech Street, Wilmington, DE 19805
  • On Thursdays, we'll meet from 10 AM until 2 PM at Large Discount Store located at 820 Norman Eskridge Highway, Seaford, DE 19973 (Big Lots Plaza).

The number of DMV offices open to the public on the go will increase shortly. Secretary of Transportation Nicole Majeski said, "Our new and enhanced DMV on the Go will provide a convenient way for residents to take care of DMV needs without driving to one of our four core facilities. With this brand-new mobile facility, we'll be able to keep touring the state for years to come!

The ability to hop in a car and go to a DMV office to handle business like driver's license renewal, address changes, and more are not available to everyone. DMV on the Go allows us to offer these services directly to our customers," explained Jana Simpler, director of the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles. In other words, "We are bringing the DMV to them."
