Title and Register a Vehicle in Wyoming
When you purchase a vehicle in Wyoming or move to Wyoming from another state, you’re required to title and register your vehicle through your local county clerk’s office.

You’ll likely have to visit your local clerk’s office and provide your:
- Certificate of title OR Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) (for new vehicles).
- Lease agreement (if applicable).
- Proof of insurance.
- Completed Application for Certificate of Title and VIN/HIN Inspection Form (MV-300A). The vehicle identification number (VIN) inspection must be completed by someone that is authorized to do so.
- Notarized bill of sale and/or dealer invoice (for recently purchased vehicles).
