New Driver Handbook Now Available for the First Time as Audio Option
Residents of Colorado now have an extra version of the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) handbook. The latest Edition of the Handbook has been released in form of an English audiobook. The driver handbook is also available in print and digital versions.
The Handbook is a manual published by the DMV to help the soon-to-be-motorists learn how to drive lawfully and safely on Colorado roadways.
While the Driver Handbook has traditionally been available in Spanish and English, the English audiobook is a great option for Colorado residents who have reading or learning disabilities.
“We would like to empower the people of Colorado to get the Driver Handbook in any format that is most appropriate to them,” said Lori Daigle, the Driver License Director. “The department of motor vehicle aims at providing seamless and efficient services to Coloradans. The launch of this audio Handbook has just demonstrated our commitment.
DMV hopes that giving more options will help better educate and prepare soon-to-be motorists about Colorado traffic rules. This will make Colorado roads much safer, particularly in October – National Pedestrian Safety Month.
Coloradans can download the handbook online via the DMV’s website in Spanish or English. The Driver Handbook can either be listened to as audio on Amazon, YouTube or Podbean. Additionally, those who prefer having a physical copy can print the 32-page handbook from the comfort of their homes.
The Colorado Driver Handbook comes with a practice quiz as an extra learning tool. The online practice quiz is part of the department’s commitment to creating awareness about safety among Colorado motorists.
The Driver Handbook can be accessed by Coloradans from anywhere as long as they are connected to the internet. The DMV has committed itself to ensure safety both for motorists and pedestrians using the roads. They encourage Coloradans to take advantage of the new version of the Driver Handbook to acquaint themselves with the latest traffic rules.
