I love the new streamlined approach of DMV !
It is amazing.
Instead of hours of waiting and waiting , there has been an overhaul to the system. There is a Front Line representative who is DMV knowledgeable who does intake.

You are fielded to an expert in your issue area, who takes you in turn on a mounted screen.

You go to that window with all necessary paperwork and BOOM !

You are set to go.

BRAVO, DMV !!!

My recent visit to the DMV Office in South Burlington VT was, understandably, unsettling from the start. although I arrived 15 minutes before the office even opened there was already a line 15 people long. I have to say that the majority of the people waiting to be served were irritated, anxious and not very friendly. This I believe lead to the DMV staff also being agitated and unhelpful in the extreme.

Since my previous visits to this facility, which involved lengthy, tiresome waits, I discovered an updated facility with much improved facilities and I was greeted with smiling faces behind the counter. There were almost no patrons waiting, and I was thrilled to be served in less than five minutes. My entire time there was peaceful and relaxing and I was treated with dignity and respect. The legendary friendliness of Vermonters was abundantly pleasant. I will never dread going to the DMV again.

I booked an appointment with a staff before leaving in order to get a quick response and attention on time, I was familiar with the address so locating it wasn't difficult at all, the staffs were very polite and helpful, proper guidelines and explanations were given which exposed me to a better experience. There was sufficient space for parking and covid19 protocols were fully observed. Overall, I had a good experience and I'll definitely recommend.

The staff was super helpful but the wait was a bit of a pain. Still, I had all of my papers in order and the experience was not that painful.
