My visit was on April 9, 2024. All I needed to do is change my mailing address on my O.L. and Registration. When I approached the information desk, I told the woman why I was there. She slid a clipboard with a form on it to me and said nothing. I was thinking, (She must hate her job.) When my number was called, the woman at the window acted as though she hates her job too and that I was interrupting her already miserable evening. I try my best not to do business here due to the rude and inconsiderate attitudes like those stated above. In fact, I know many people who have experienced the same frustration that I have. Like all businesses, there are exceptions. There are some employees who help customers without expressing a miserable, rude and inconsiderate attitude. However, I have yet to see it here. DMV needs to monitor their employees and conduct counseling sessions in the field of (Not Good) but Great Customer Service. Although my experience here was, as usual, not an enjoyable one, I did get my address changed. The lowest score i can give is one star only because there is no zero to check.
I have never been treated so well by a DMV employee as the Rocky Mount, VA location. Ms Gentry was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was so surprised by this extraordinary customer service.
This woman didn't understand anything I told her. I left empty-handed. Then online I saw that I should have been given the State ID I initially requested.
DMV in Hilltop, Virginia Beach is great, must of the time when I go, the service is fast and the service is very pleasant.
The appointment system is terrible.
