There was one person assisting a visitor, one employee was on her computer, and two employees appeared to be frolicking while trying to repair a broken chair, while 4 people were waiting to be serviced. The employee that waited on me had difficulty understanding my request.😕Overall, the employees in the New Iberia office appear to not like their job or they are dealing with personal problems😕.
The employees at this location have a somewhat hostile attitude. On my visit today, one person was actually helping someone, two employees were frolicking (fixing a broken chair), and the other was on her computer while 4 people were waiting for assistance. The person that waited on me could not understand my issue, she was NOT personable and you could tell they did not like their job.
Made an appointment to change the address on my license and was in and out in less than an hour. The folks were nice and professional, no complaints (everything takes a little time but this was relatively efficient - I think the post-COVID make-an-appointment is a good idea. It's always good when govt works well. Thanks! The "Star" rating system (I'm trying to click 5 but only one appears clicked seems far less reliable than the DMV.
I had misplaced my driving license for about 3 months was told when I called I would need my birth certificate and two other documents,I tell you I looked high and low and finally found my birth certificate!! After getting there she only asked for my social security number and that was it !!
Horrible set up. No signs, no one to answer questions or give directions on what to do or where to go!
